Minnesota Winter Fun

Before the Super Bowl, we spent some time outside sledding. Grandma and Grandpa York have a massively steep hill that leads down to their dock on White Bear Lake (now completely frozen...Welcome to Minnesota!). Here is some fun video of the descent down to the lake and some other pictures to enjoy.

A homeade ice skating rink.

Jacob heads towards the ice fishing houses and cars in the middle of the frozen lake.

We were in search of an abandoned ice fishing hole to show the boys. Looking into the hole you could see the ice layer was about 3 feet thick.

Heading back towards Grandma and Grandpa's house (pictured) to warm up and watch the game.

Wow Kim....this completely frozen lake just amazes me! We don't see things like that around these parts...hehe :)(now, i really sound like a country hick) I mean i know people ice fish and there are ice fishing houses, but still, its amazing how cold it must be up there. The pictures and video are really neat to see. :)Kelly
