Camping in Style

Over the fourth of July holiday weekend, we spent three days at the Yogi Bear Campgrounds in Warrens, WI just a 2.5 hour drive from the Twin Cities. We went with our entire MN clan that included Brian's parents, two siblings and their families (all total came to 8 adults and 6 kids) to celebrate Brian and his twin brother's 30th birthday coming up later this year. Our "camping" was that of limited luxury compared to real camping. Each family stayed in a trailer type cabin that included a full kitchen, bathroom, and 3 bedrooms (not really "roughing it," but we didn't mind at all). According to Peter, being around the campfire was "camping."

Jacob's favorite activity included the wave pool and large downhill slide at their waterpark. Peter and Leah both enjoyed the sandy beach by the lake. Mom and Dad enjoyed the yummy dinners provided by Grandma and Grandpa York, numerous s'mores by the campfire, and spending time hanging out with all the family.

Below are lots of photo highlights from the trip.

They even had swan paddle boats!
