Celebrating St. Patrick's Day

We actually did a craft project for St. Patrick's Day! I know, I know . . . I shouldn't break my arm patting myself on the back, but I tried to remember the last time I sat down with the kids at home to make an real craft and it was (ahem) almost a year ago. Sad I know, but I seriously can't handle the stress and all the mess. I couldn't pass up this cute little leprechan craft featured in Family Fun magazine this month. So during Leah's morning nap, we got to work and they did a great job of listening and having fun. Here are some pictures of their finished products. Can you tell which one is Jacob's and which one is Peter's (via Mom's help)?

Then as a special treat for lunch we had green milkshakes featuring green mint chocolate chip ice cream. Leah even enjoyed a small green milkshake to celebrate her first St. Patrick's Day.
