As an infant, Peter never took a pacifier. But for some reason around a year old, he started toting Jacob's "pacis" around with him. They eventually found their way into his mouth during a bout of teething. He's never really sucked on them, just chewed. Recently, he has become quite attached to them, especially for going to sleep, and usually plays with them in everything he does. He's even been referring to them as his "paci friends." Yesterday he showed me this house he built for his pacis. He's so thoughtful.

That's so cute! How nice of him to think of his paci's. Wouldn't you love to know his train of thought before he built it?
Isaac was also the same way. He didn't take a paci as an infant but when Teresa came home he took her blue one and chewed on it for several weeks. We've now lost it and Teresa won't use one either, so no more paci's.
