Our Terrific Three Year Old!

Peter turned 3 on Saturday and we celebrated his birthday with a beach party at a nearby lake. The weather was perfect! All of his siblings and cousins have had their birthday parties within the last four months. So Peter has been telling everybody all summer, "I be three in September." He waited patiently for his turn and I think he a a great birthday.

His only request for his party was that he wanted a pinata. He loves pirate treasure chests and collecting coins in a variety of containers so he had a treasure chest pinata and we even had a treasure hunt for gold coins that a "Pirate" (aka Jacob) buried in the sand. We were blessed to have great family and friends there with us to help celebrate.
