The boys continue the York family tradition of collecting all of daddy's pocket change from the year and cashing it in for spending money at the Fair.

Leah checks out the GINORMOUS tractor at the little kids' farm.

Peter, Leah, and Jacob planting their "seeds" and picking plastic vegetables in the garden at the kid's farm.

A treat from Daddy. The plastic handles were pretty clever.

Jacob never likes the animal barns much. Grandpa sympathizes.

A Scotch Egg (hard boiled egg inside sausage).

Although not her first Fair experience (as she went last year at 4 months old), it was her first time tasting all the fried goodness! She was eating something almost the entire time!

In line for the ride.

This is a classic view of the walking around the State Fair. We usually try to go during the week, but this year had to go on the first Saturday (always a busy day). Yep, those are people in front of us as far as you can see. You basically have to keep your focus right in front of you so as not to get overwhelmed by the massive amounts of people ALL around you. Regardless of the crowds, the State Fair is still one of our favorite things about Minnesota.
