What I Did on My Summer Vacation by Leah

Leah experienced many firsts on her first vacation. These include:

• The night before we left, she had her first visit to the ER to diagnose a fever that was making her incredibly irritable (after all the tests, she was sent home with the diagnosis of a fever due to a virus).
• First airplane ride, in which she still had a fever, but was kept comfortable through the miracle drug of tylenol and slept the whole flight.
• First time meeting her Grandpa Helms and Uncle Kevin (Kim's dad and brother)
• First time meeting many of Kim's extended family including her Great Grandmother Cooley.
• First antibiotics (when she was finally diagnosed with a bladder infection after some more tests came back from the ER visit. She improved immediately!)
• First road trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C.
• First visit to the Atlantic Ocean
