We attended a local shopping center's "Boo Bash" last night. The kids get to trick or treat at all the merchants which include an upscale grocery store. In the grocery store, in addition to candy, they also received items from a variety stations around the store such as a snack size bag of baby carrots, a carton of chocolate milk, a stick of string cheese, a pumpkin cookie from the bakery, and a mini can of pepsi. Earlier in the day, when I reminded Jacob that we would be going to the store to trick or treat like last year, he asked, "Can I get a can of pop from the girl dressed like a baby again?" The things he remembers are hilarious! After this trial run, they are ready for the real thing on Saturday!

Jacob couldn't wait to get his kid size pop "just like Mommy and Daddy's drink."

and yes those are snow boots, but they pass don't they?
Don't knock the resourcefulness!

Turning on the charm for some more candy.

Cousin Thomas was there too!
Both of their mouths were full at the time.
